The ship
The Day Flux Found His Pulse: Inheriting the Dream hunter.
At twenty-one, most people are inheriting old watches or perhaps a dented sedan. I inherited a Fold-Class starship.
Flux uncle passed, he didn’t just leave me a vessel; he left me a sentient legacy. The dream hunter wasn’t just built; it felt like she was grown from chrome and consciousness. Standing on the bridge for the first time, I didn’t see a cockpit. I saw a nervous system.

Building worlds

Lately, I’ve been deep in the world-building phase for my latest project. It’s been a fascinating challenge trying to strike a very specific balance: I want these environments to feel simultaneously natural and alien.
My goal is to create a triangulation of design:
- The Familiar: Elements that ground you and feel physically real.
- The Strange: Textures or shapes that feel slightly “off” or uncanny.
- The Far: Concepts that are completely removed from the norms of our reality.
I’m really enjoying the process of crafting these worlds and focusing on the cinematic scope of the environments. Below are some of the recent visual explorations where I tried to capture that mix of the grounded and the surreal.
