Every hero is defined by the quality of their opposition. For Captain Flux, that opposition has a name: Zero Dark.
Zero Dark isn’t a villain motivated by money or world domination. He is motivated by a singular, obsessive directive: the neutralization of Captain Flux. Whether Flux is brought in breathing or in a casket is a secondary detail to Zero dark only thing that matters is the conclusion of the hunt.

When I first sat down to design this, I actually tried to fight the ‘red’ stereotype. I experimented with a whole spectrum of palettes, wanting to find something unexpected to define the look. But there’s a reason red is the universal language for a villain. No matter how much I pushed against it, nothing else captured that specific, heart-pounding sense of danger. I eventually leaned into it, focusing on how to make it feel truly sinister rather than just typical.
